2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide account access, authentication, onboarding, and customer support.
- To manage property listings, listing discovery, booking or purchase workflows, tenants, rent calculations, payments, receipts, and owner-tenant communication.
- To process payments through Razorpay and maintain payment records.
- To send service updates, support responses, security notices, and launch or early-access communication where permitted.
- To detect fraud, prevent misuse, improve reliability, maintain legal compliance, and enforce our policies.
3. Consent and Withdrawal
By submitting information to Thikano or using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information for the purposes described in this policy. You may withdraw consent for non-essential communication or request access, correction, or deletion of applicable personal information by contacting us at legal@thikano.in. Some information may need to be retained where required for legal, tax, payment, security, dispute, or record-keeping purposes.
4. Payments Through Razorpay
Payments are planned to be processed through Razorpay. Thikano does not store complete card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, net-banking passwords, or other sensitive payment authentication data on its servers. Payment details are handled by Razorpay and relevant banking/payment networks under their applicable security and compliance standards, including PCI-DSS where applicable. We may receive transaction identifiers, order IDs, payment status, amount, date, and limited payer details needed for reconciliation, receipts, refunds, fraud prevention, and support.
5. Disclosure of Information
We may share information with service providers and partners only to the extent needed to operate Thikano, including hosting, analytics, authentication, storage, messaging, payment processing, customer support, and compliance services. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, government request, payment network rule, or to protect our rights, users, and platform security.
6. Third-Party Services and Links
Our app, website, and services may link to third-party websites or use third-party services such as Razorpay, Firebase, hosting providers, analytics tools, communication tools, and app stores. Third parties have their own privacy policies. Once you leave Thikano, install or use the app through an app store, or interact with a third-party payment page, your information may also be governed by that third party's policies.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or loss. No internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and users are responsible for keeping their login credentials and devices safe.

We may use cookies, browser storage, device storage, and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember waitlist submissions, improve app and website behavior, understand usage, and protect the service. These technologies are not intended to personally identify you across unrelated websites.
